take your car for a thrash ?

decided tonight that instead of going to the pub for a few beers id put a tenners worth of fuel into the 106 and go for a blast round - i cant remember the last time i did but my god how much fun is it, even with standard suspension and poxy ditchfinder tyres ive had a smile on my face constantly for the last 2hrs

took in dual carriagway/motorway, snaking B roads and city centre kroooozin (perving on studenty types on nights out  ) all in the space of 40-50miles

back to basics FTW

Few weeks ago before I took it for an MOT, gave it some thrashing to try and bring the emissions down, still failed.

Erm... Every time I drive it! I gave it more today though because it's just being too cheeky right now.

I went for a 20 minute dual carriageway thrash before the MOT on Wednesday to bring the emissions down and succeeded :d . 0.3 smoke units.

Why will mine go pop, its an Izuzu engine so theyre nigh on bombproof and mines still at a safe psi, and as Hendrix found out, even at 30psi it will still cook the turbo before the engine and he replaced his for £35 :p

Had the Nova out the night round some backroads, sitting at a casual 60/70 - Such good fun, quite good handling in the wet as well you can hold it at a safe 60 round most corners on the twisty bits :)

Loved it!

whats this about replacing the turbo for 35quid?!

mine is running up'd boost and fuel.. i think, as it absolutly cains my mates 1.7td isuzu engine, and leaves a trail of smoke worse than bob marley himself
