Sometimes my xe runs great then somtimes when you put your foot down it seems to be starved of fuel.if you floor it.its holding back a bit,you have to gently ease the pedal otherwise its like not going anywhere.then a few minutes later it clears up.is it to do with heat like somthing warming up properly or somthing.help/advice is truly appreicated:thumb:
my 1 litre does this and also when i corner it does it. even on a full tank :(

I'd say it's nothing to do with fuel.
More than likely the CTS sensor or another electrical issue.

cts ( coolant temp sensor) at the front to the left where the thermostat is

Blue sensor, 2pins. Make sure it isnt the loom wires going to it that arent frayed or chafed.
The 1 wire sender is for the temp gauge (ignore it)
could be an air lock in the fuel tank , blooked breather hose , but id still got for CTS

If it was the CTS though, wouldn't it give a EML warning?

mmm interesting. My c16xe has a similar flatspot so could be worth be checking this on mine then.
+1 CTS or check the engine earths!
