Iirc the drive at the end of the cam would not fit your 1.2 distributor drive
Although otherwise it should fit in carrier etc etc

Yes it will fit in the cam carrier
It likely wont fit the drive for your 1.2 dizzy though
What drive is the end of your dizzy? Slot type ?

hang on then if your saying it wont fit then that spi tuning guide is wrong, because it doesnt explain in detail it just says if you wanna change the cam use an injection type (gte/gsi), so ideally it needs to explain in detail what will need to be done in order for item to fit, because its made out as if things will just fit right on.

Just check it - take off your dizzy which is a 2 min job and see what the drive is. If yours is an SPI then I believe the drive is the same as a GTE/GSI but if its carb'd then different.
Adams tuning guide will be correct I am sure
In answer to your original question, a GSI/GTE cam will fit in the carrier!
