Any1 joined NL after seeing a NL sticker on a nova?

some one was sellin loads of nova stuff and in the pics was Novaload logo... so i thought... leme type this in see what happenes... booooo yahhhh!!!

been part of the furniture ever since..

i found novaload.net cos i used a link to goto the nova trader, the old one when it was on white pages, and there was a link from there to it.....

I think I signed up on the old site, but I can't remember. What ever site I signed up on I forgot my password.

Then I came back for some unknown reason, by some unknown means

i have seen one car with novaload.net sticker on it around here... no idea who it is though. was a while ago.

i signed up after buying an interior from paul jackson who said, where did you see the advert - was it on novaload or the other site... so i said another one... he told me to check out novaload... so i did.

and like someone else said - i been part of the furniture ever since :lol:

lol i joined just over 3years ago, found site by having free periods at college and being v bored just stumbled across it realy! was then and still is now easily the best put together nova site out there! i first signed up as srboy!- bak in the 1.3 days 8)

When i first joined there were no stickers and about 5 nova sites- topbuzz, vauxnova and a few others.

No offence, as the site is great, but there is NO WAY i'd display a sticker on the car. I mean 'Novaload'. It's just so, cheesy!

Its the only sticker on my car, slapped on the windscreen at the top, in the middle! looks good 2 me! but i aint keen on ne more stickers!

i've always been proud of my use and involvement with this site... so what if people think the name of the site is silly, who cares really - someone sees your car and likes it and goes to the website they will see its not a stupid site but actually one of, if not THE best site of its kind.

One day I came out to find my car covered in Novaload stickers and decided it was a sign from God so I joined up :lol:

nah seriously - I was surfing the crimson wave swilling round a lesbian forum and came across this bloke called Kev. Strange, I thought, why would a bloke be posting messages on a Lesbian site? But thats another story -anyway he mentioned his site so i joined :lol:

I do remember however it being dead slow and I also remember Paul Jackson - he was the Mike Oxford ( except with brains - lol sorry Mike :lol: ) of the site.....

paul jackson was a really nice bloke... bought a few things off him over in Leeds... he helped me out with a couple of bits on my car while i was there too... :lol:
He certainly knew his stuff... i was sooo impressed with his 2.0 8v when i saw it - first 2 litre i had seen in person :D

lol i have only ever meet one other person who uses the site, that was MC in reading services when i bought his wheels, it looked a very dodgy deal as the wheels were in Black bags and we swapped them over and i gave him the money and we drove off..

Have also met Colin Smith (god knows how many times) & Will Foy (who is also a top man, just bad taste in websites)

I sourced him an engine, am helping fit it and coaching through every step of the way. His car is Mint a real good example.
