redtop and 2.0 8v

i was wondering if a redtop head could bolt straight on to a 2.0 8v bottom end? and if so would i have to run the xe loom an ecu? thanks.

yes it will bolt straight on but the pistons etc are different and yes you would have to use the xe management

just fit a complete xe, then sell the 8v to someone on here

well i only have the head at tho moment so i'll have to hunt for a bottom end now. thanks for the info though
