Does the 1.3sr have a different speedo/cable transmission than the 1.2? I have just changed the clocks on my 1.2 for the 1.3sr ones and am not sure if it is reading the right speed. It seems like i am going faster than the speedo is saying (it could just be wishfull thinking) . Should i change the speedo cable for the 1.3 one or will that not make a difference?

Is the inside of the gearbox what could be making it read wrong?

Thanks for any help.

there all the same.......

if anything swrong the needle could be out or the clocks are fcuked, but the cables are all the same.........

even if there not the same, changing it wont have an effect because the rate the gearbox turns the cable dont change, so a shorter or longer cable wont have an effect

Didn't think it would be the cable.

I thought it might have been a difference between the number of turns in the transmission.

Or it just could be right and my old speedo was more out?

Or it could even be the same and i am just imagining things :?

I will just leave it and carry on!

try and follow someone in a car through a speed limit..........

nothing would have changed, probly just your imagination

althought the two clocks, one might be slightly over, the other slightly under, givin a false impression :? who knows
