nope, it is a fairly crap kids film that uses a really contrived plot line & rips off a lot of indiana jones stuff, including one of the characters, and an even worse Cindi Lauper song, but if 80's retro is your thing & you don't want to watch ET, then it is ok, but I would recommend watching Ferris Bueller's day off instead

come on, the whole goondocks thing, the ripping houses down to make a golf club, the whole pirates hiding a ship in an enormous cave for 300 years without anyone finding it, but, Hold on a minute, where did all the plumbing pipes come from???? and the worst pantomime villains ever in the history of villains....... it is not exactly a plot line, is it????
