hi i am the 4th owner of this car and have big plans for it.am wonting a mk1 front end painted gsi red. then some coliovers and cav slabs. then a 2l 8v befor i get a tubo so i can get use to the power. this will be mostly be pic as i can't spell well:confused:

the pentalines look miles better on the car than the slabs also IMO

decent looking project you got there matey.
i have to agree with vaughanmc it did look better on the previous rims, sprayed black they woulda suited it well.
thumbs up for wanting to mk.1 it too, will look a bit beastier.
hows about twin carbing the 2.0 8v instead of going turbo, will sound the nuts and go like stink anyway lol

i may put the old rims back on and am not turbo ing the 8v it will be a c20let all put in. am just have the 2l 8v so i can wined some caves up till i can get the money for the let

Rust in the battery tray and under the underseal in the engine bay? I wouldnt want to put a let into a rusty shell.

Otherwise it looks good, better on the tigra wheels though.

am going to get it stich welded and plated befor the 8v go in so it all reddy for the let wen i get one. i won't re sell as i payed peanuts for it and it the cleanes front end i have ever see on a nova. it mostly serface rot so it just need a good clean down and under sealing. the only problem is i went in to a curb in the wet wen i locked up and have bent some think but dont no wot. i have replaced the botom arm tie rod track rod arm trackrods and botom ball joints but my n/s front wheel still sit off center and am stuck were to go next :confused:. so if there any one in the north east that can help by look at it and point me in the rhgit way to fix it please get in tuch as it bogeled my head.

If you have replaced the above maybe strut top is bent or chassis leg. How hard did you hit the kerb? have you had the tracking done after replacing the trackrod arm? which wheel did you hit as from this pic it looks like the o/s front??

i hit it at about 25 mph with my wheel fully to the rihgt and it the near side i hit that just a wonkey wheel trim. and the first time it had been moved in a year so every think was a bit stif.

hi some new stuff has happened to the loon this week end. first off i crash it on the same juncson agen by locking up. and there been a investergashon about it this time as the wer 4 other cars did the same thing in the space 30 mins. so it had another bottom arm and ball joint. i allso had some grate help off a good frend fix it and he spoted wot was bet and was make the wheel sit off center thanks adam:thumb:, it all so had new brakes off a sri so it now got vented disc and biger calpers on/a splitter off a laguner/and stifend struts on the front with apex 40mm drop all rouned.

if look were me finger is pointing that a kink in the x member allso were the tie bar bolts on is pull in on it self so new front panil is ont the cards for it.

cud some one please post up on here wat parts i need to do a 2l 8v convershon. i have the engine i need a inlet manifoled and loom +ecu. i no i need strenthing kit and new front panel as mine is bent and a mk3 astra fuil pump wood you please post a list so i can price all of it up thanks:thumb:

new up date i have every think on hold at the min as i have founed a BIG CRACK in the x meber:(. i am bid on one at the min on ebay and i am think of put my 1.4 sri engine in untill i get the cash to do the 2.0l proerly. that all for now all get some pic up of the x meber and try to do a step by step of dismanteling it and rebilden the front end thanks for reading

Looks well matey i wouldnt bother putting in the 1.4 if your gonne pull it out and put the 2.0 8v in.

I like the slabs if it was lower would look smoother with the slabs lol

hi all am sad to inform u that on monday nhgit arouned 10 i lost control of the loon and end up in a wall and wipen it out:cry: my front pan smash in and the n/s iner whing all bent so soon the door and that will be up for saile if any one intrested. but to put brhgit side on thing it going to be a doner for a green mk1 nova GTE i am try to get by the 10th from 2 lad's in the vilige next to me think they call them self grifen autos i no one of them sinde up on here just dont no his form name but thanks gen for all the intrest
