right the last time i purchased trainers was about 3-4 years ago lol.

it also happened to be the first time i bought nike air's, have to say WTF was the fuss about?? granted they were ok for walking about in, but anything more energetic and there was no difference to std trainers lol.

Anyway i need a new pair now (the toes tore on both sides around the silly bit of rubber from the sole to the toe tip). im after a pair that are quite rugged, yet easy(ish) to run in (need to get my beer gut off) not look too bad etc. im not after sodding "fashon" shoes etc oh and the budget is about ?40 lol any ideas?? ive found a pair of nike walking/running shoes (still trainers but a bit tougher lol)

and they really should last about 4 years again lmao

cheers

i wouldnt bother going to any high street places, prices are always too high. get most of my stuff from cheshire oaks now. dont know how far away you are, theres a nike place there u seem intent on nike, could be worth sniffing out

I got me a pair of Oakley 'Chop Saw' (it's not painful) shoes about a month ago, ?39.99, it was a special offer tho.

I don't like trainers, even though i do have a few pairs. They're pretty expensive (?140 each or so), and only for fashion purposes to be honest, but you don't need brand names and etc for a decent pair of trainers if they are to actually serve a purpose.

What you choose depends on what you intend to use them for, as there's quite a difference between running shoes and say basketball trainers.

?40 should be enough.

Sorry am I missing something?

If you drive a Nova and wear trainers dont they have to be Nike Air Max Classics by law to go with the Burberry cap?????

Yes I am aware that I have got a Nova

I can't stand ANY of those 'classic' 'retro' things.

As for baseball caps - never worn one and never will.
