the underseal was holding it together!!!

ya say that, the battery tray has a very small bit of rust ion the clamp, no holes tho, a small hole on one headlight tray bit, inner wings are clean, turret has a hole, rear arches have been done befor i think.

typical spots though are fairly good.

Thats about normal tbf, you did realise you bought a 'vauxhall nova' they were only ever intended to be owned by welding colleges and not the general public you know!

my mk1 is better then this as its 1988, this is like 5 years older and so much worse.

my splash guards are immaculate and for saying how rust my nova was its aint half as bad as them :P

I had a nove once that was pretty similar, didnt have any splash guards !!

my splash guards werent too bad, had a small hole in both sides near the bottom

saying that, one thing i noticed about my guards today is that they dont even match lmfaoo

That is quite bad. My splash guards are solid, yet other aspects of the shell have been utterly rotten. Never any pattern of rot on Novas really, apart from door bottoms.

i inspected the other spash guard today, excatly the same, the underseal was holding it on

not good,

also i put a hammer through the sill. not good also lol.

i bet you will find its gone thought to behind the pedals take away the carpet and ull see the wheel

it has gone through just a tad, on the bottom pic of the 4 above ones, you can see where it has gone through, and i think it has done it at the bottom. which means interior out :(

tbh before going any further id get the screw driver out and go around every inch of the car


my green one was exact same condition iff not better, found out it was rotton everywhere

i had planned to do a few small bits here and there, now im just poking lol

i did the same repaired inner wings, went to do splash gaurds knocked the rust off nothing left then went round the car wasnt much left
