just curious, got a few questions to any that have done it :

notice much gain in performance ?
how do they sound on the 1.2 ?
and whats the petrol consumption like ?

only real gain will be with cam/headwork.

Sound will be cool, short stroke engine will rev its tits off :)

Fuel consumption can be better than std, but since the noise is addictive the consumption goes down the pan lol

i am running a 1200 block with 1300 crank and rods etc..

ery hig revving, and goes very well for a 1200..well short stroke 1400 really.

sounds awesome!

you really don't understand this do you?????

a 1200 with a 1300 crank is a 1400..... it is not a short stroke 1400!!!!!

it revs no higher than a 1300....:( :(

Speak to boffer8, I saw his on track as a 1.2 on t40's with some other mods, the litle thing was flying!

1.2 with a 4spd cr box ;)

almost bought an astra belmont hill climb car with that setup. it was rapid!

yeh i was a bit confused when he showed me the lil 1.2 with t40s. had a top speed of something like 80 but was geared for acceleration. had all the internal fire extinguishers, full cage map lights etc.

fitting them is the easy part insuring them isnt, my insurer has sent out a engineers report from for ithem lol
