2.0L Redtop Conversion

Hi All,

Am new member but have been on the site several times.

Have wanted a Nova for a very long time and have now bought one!

I am now looking for the engine to gon in it and would love some advice and knowledge from people on the best engines to use and the cars to get them from.

well....im quite new myself but we all help each other!
first off, how old are you? if your trying to get this on the road think about insurance before you pick an engine? 2l redtop age 17 is not going to be cheap! what nova have you got? is it a carb or injection? what do you want to use the car for? road or track or what? c20xe is great fun and is fast etc? but loads of people will recomend going small block! you can get great power from smaller lighter engines etc....also depends how much you want to spend?? all these sorts of things need to be considerd before choosing and engine!
