Hi-Is there much difference physically between a xe manifold/port/bolt pattern and a 1.4 8v exhaust port pattern?? Would it be possible to cut the flange off and weld on a suitable flange for the 1.4 head? I've seen a xe manifold advertised local to me and I was considering buying it as it's a 4-2-1 branched type. Thanks

Hi-This is the ad- "BIGBORE MANIFOLD TO SUIT VAUXHALL2.0XE CONVERSION.TO SUIT 2.0XE CONVERSION "-I was hoping to just cut off the flange and the pipes would be in the right place-Thanks for replying

Another quality thread.
No chance that would ever work.
Quite surprised anyone would need to ask tbh.

Smallblock 16v ports are the wrong shape. Again no chance.
