I'm going to lower my Nova -60mm.

Would a set of alloys with the following size fit ok under the standard arches??

-15" Rim
-6.5" Width
-Offset 41 (this is my worry.....)

41mm offset will scrub the tubs on the rear at times!

If theres people in back, an engine (Im foolish) or anything heavy!

Mine are nearly through the metal in the tubs!

i had 40 ml offset wheels ,lowered 6o ml rubbed with 50 profile tyres but not with 45, so make sure you put 195/45/15 on them!

Should fit fine.
BOLLOX!

They will very likely scrub.

read this:

the maths would be this.
In my experience (and many otheres on here) 6 inch wide rims with 49mm offset will sometimes scrub a bit with 195-45-15 rubber - trimming arches will usually cure.
Your adding half inch of rim (total 6.5") meaning 12.5mm (thats 6.25mm on each side of rim) and your loosing 8mm of offset. so your adding a total of 14.25mm to the outside edge of the usual max you will get without minamal scrubage (as above). thats alot of arch to catch on so not oly will you need to trim them, but youl catch on almost all bumps and when under load.

Obviously every car is different but the above is a good start to work from.

My 6J x 15" ET49's used to rub on the inner arch and my Speedlines (6.5J x 16" ET49) rub...everywhere except the back arch lips lol

My 6J x 14" RFX's with 185/60/14's scrubbed the tyre outer edge with a 40mm drop, on the RH arch only, ended up with a std ride height

What tyres will be used? IIRC on here someone said certain tyre types can sometimes help stop the scrub as the shoulder isn't as square as other types.
