Hello peeps :)

How accurate is the speedo on the LCD dash when properly plumbed into the F20 gearbox on a Nova?

Just wondering if it's more accurate than a mech speedo and how out it is at the top end, if at all.

Cheers :d

best to use a sat nav to check. i think they also read close to the standard clocks as they arent that accurate either

Unless the wheels/tyres are same as standard i doubt it will be any better than the standard nova clocks.

my old one was 4 mph out to my sat nav, at 100 on the dash the sat nav said 96

my std clocks read 110 when my sat nav reads 100

theres a speed sensor along the road from me and your speed shows up and it was 4 mph out to my transit speedo but exact on the sat nav lol

Standard Nova clocks are a bus ride out.On standard wheels my sr read **115mph On the sat nav this was 106mph
Digi dash was** 99mph Sat nav read 96mph

I've used one of the pulse convertors off Dom from Migweb and have set mine up to match the satnav speed. It seems accurate from 10mph all the way up to about 120mph (at which point I slowed down!)

On the side of the road speed signs it comes in 100% accurate which is a billy bonus!

Hope all this helps!

my standard nova clocks are generally between 5 and 15% out, and it doesn't seem to be a linear difference at all lol

Remember tyre pressure, tyre temps, tyre tread and road temp can change the accuracy of the reading anyway.

about the only accurate thing you can say about a digidash is that it won't read correctly
