i have a red top that is was running a pot type flyheel but it blew so iv got a bare engine with a head so im swapping everything across. my old one had pot type but my new one has flat type flywheel, i was told today that i couldnt use my old loom on the flat type flywheel because of the sensor. is this correct

since when does a c20xe have a sensor on the flywheel?!?!

swap it. iirc you need the flat type clutch aswell

Sounds like he means the crank position sensor?

well i didnt think it mattered as you say there is only a pick up for the crank. i never knew of this either but im only a hobbiest and i wasnt sure about what they said so i asked.

So sorry if you think it is full of fail L14MNP you T**T and your saying im full of fail when you came into this thread expecting spinnig insert alloys from the ghetto when the title clearly states FLYWHEELS!. that is an epic fail

i do relise i need the the flat type clutch assembly

Any way if your swapping everything over from your old motor then the loom you have will be fine !!
