Mounting alternator..

Changing to bike carbs in next few weeks, need to sort out a location change for alternator. I know about the lowering brackets for Twin 40s but just want to know if anyone has mounted alternators in any other way?

On a small block 1300 8v btw

Some people have front mounted the alternators on C20XE's using the PAS pump mounting holes as far as I know. You could fabricate a new drivers side engine mount that would mount and tension the alternator if you're any good at fabricating.
