anyone who puts hatch arches on a saloon. why would you have proper arches and then put stupid ones on it???

Agreed,a saloon looks absolutely garbage with hatchback rear arches on.

But he threw in the towel & broke it. Nuff said. He should have built a mk1 Golf instead. Saloon's share arches with Escorts, Metro's & Golfs.

3-dr Novas share arches with Lancia Integrale's & Audi sport Quattro's FFS. I know what I prefer. :d

Round peg, square hole etc. Plus it doesn't look such a Lancia rip off then lol

The other problem is people usually use front wings to get the square arch, which looks even more naff.

[edit] And of course you can get away with bigger wheels. Or bigger tyres, depending on your preference :p

my mate bought one thats had the hatch front wings put on - old dear who had it must ve just wanted the cheapest fix to rusty wings. there has been a few with hatch wigs fitted but theres only one who has done it correctly - not the light blue one with speedlines - he used front wings all round so the arches are different heights - looks dumb as imo there was a dark blue one though looked smart for what it was

Needs something a bit more custom on the back to make up the length of the saloon imo, they get a bit lost in it's massive unnecessary ass lol

You cant stack the bodys 5 high though. And unless you remove the bit behind the rear seats you wouldnt fit anymore than a hatch.

Yeah, so you remove the rear seats - then where do your hitmen sit? Tut. You clearly haven't thought this through!

Plus any bodies in the back of a hatch are on full display to all and sundry if you knock the back seats down! Saloon = stealth

Am I the only one that thinks both look ok? Although, if I owned a saloon then they would stay round as I couldn't be bothered with the hassle.

Thank funk for that, i was thinking everyone was thinking i was straight because i drive a tigra!
