Has the law changed in the last few years so it now takes around 14 days to even recieve your account number and sort code after your application has been processed?

This is a p1ss take, but it's what Barclays are saying to me!

Or are they just rubbish and I could join another bank and actually recieve my account details there and then?

GAY.

I'm already with Lylods TSB dude. Guess I could open another with them? I'd prefer to go elsewhere though as I don't particuarly like the service TBH.

Maybe only Barclays are the ones that have this stupid system them. Typical of me to choose them lol.

Joe, the monies are trapped in Paypal and I have Superlites to pay for. :(
You can stick the next lot under your mattress lol.

Every has a bad experience with one bank or another.

I hate Llloyds because they never used to be open when I need them.
I can't fault Nationwide tbh.

Yep, I have banking with Nationwide and Natwest. Whilst neither have been bad, Nationwide have ALWAYS been light years ahead in customer service. Their online banking is way better than Natwest too.

lloyds opened an accout in about half an hour, then went back to borrow some money and was in and out £1500 heavier within about 20minutes. Far too easy imo lol
