f28 speedo

got a mechanical drive f28 going in the turbo will the speedo work ok with the standard mechanical drive spedo ring already fitted or will it need changing for one from an f20?

am i right in thinkig its only the electric drive ones that need changing?

Needs changing mate. Apparantly you can buy the f20 rings new from autovaux for peanuts. Splitting can be arsed. I think I did I guide on it in articles.

I sold them when i worked for vauxhall and they were under a tenner

About £8 from vauxhall. Hardest part is getting the diff out to change!
