Oil pump!

iv rebuilding my red top and have got a new oil pump, the one that came of the engine had a big seal with a coller that went onto the crank.

but thew new one has a much smaller crank seal that wont let the coller pass and the seal does not sit on the crank well so it will just leak.

does anyone now part numbers of the pump i need.

im sure there are 3 different ones,

you can tell buy the pick up pipe shape
the later ones have a oval shape, but not sure about the earlier two

use genuine only mate!!!

or autopumps are ok.

not sure what the make is, its not genuine.
where will i get one? dont like that stuff from the bay

i have a brand new oil pump, its an autopumps one (next best thing from genuine) it cost me £80 you can have it for £50, it will fit your engine to with the collar setup, regards, sean

yes mate, ill get you a pic to confirm

cheers. just to confirm that it has the round inlet hole and not an oval.
also is the crankshaft seal 38mm and not 31mm
