when people say "twin 40 webers" do they meen twin choke webers or 2 seperate carbs??

They mean 2 carbs (4inlets!!) This allows much higher airflow + fuel mixture into the engine. The twin 40's means 40/40. Twin choke is 32/34.

i am deciding whether to buy a 1.4 SR or a 1.4 SRI i think that the SR is much quicker what do you think.

sr is 72bhp sri is 82 bhp

Erm, no, Sri is quicker m8. If u looked in maxpower then dont. (0-60) SR=11.6, SRi=10.5

my mate had an sri (sri_boy) and it is alot quicker than an 1.4sr
