i have a budget of a grand at the minute but i have a clean low miles early coscast c20xe so thats a start if i was to build one, i was thinking of buying a car with tuned c20xe then braking rest or send the head on my one off for work, get some tb's, bigger manifold, lightened flywheel and kent cams, maybe easier to buy one already built

for £1k could build a decent bottom end with rods/pistons, then look at headwork, cams, solid lifters, tbs or carbs


even a decent spec xe will be £3k used and 2nd hand for a proper one.
