hi guys my e16se just isnt doing it for me so im looking to try make it faster ;) is there and specific things i could do to make it better eg change gearbox or bottom end etc:eek:
head is already away being skimmed and ported and polished
dont want to change engine for anything bigger so come on guys i know there are loads of guys who mix and match to get best results:thumb:
any help would be nice

Cam and a set of 40s/throttle bodies would be a good set up it all depends on your budget really bud

IMO if it isnt doing it for you. it would be easier and probably cheaper in the long run to put as bigger engine in. i bet, you would spend as much on the 1.6 trying to get it to your specs while compromising the reliability probably as you would on the new engine, install and insurance.

i say go bigger :)

i have a piper cam and 4.29 final drive for your gearbox that could liven it up a bit:thumb:
