Can't complain at the turnout - 5 of the planned Nova's showed up which was class and we had a young boy out buying TV mag and spotted the Nova's sitting so he joined us for a wee while
I didn't manage to get pictures of the blue Saloon but if you join up please leave a comment for future reference and also didn't get pictures of the original B reg Mk1 SR, sorry about that...
Anyway, we had a good couple of hours talking about the Nova's, the forum etc - Even the weather didn't dampen the spirit that much lol
Here's a couple of picture's that I took - I'm sure John will post up more when he come's on

Great looking cars guy's. Hope when I get mine finished it looks a half as good. Live about 4 miles from Silverburn but wasn't turning in a Scenic.

It does mate - was it your mate who bought it with the sr engine and his brother fired the red top in?

My mate bought it then sold it to my other friend who then got it respraid and him and my other mate put the valver in. Then he sold it to another friend who then sold it on ebay to a lad down south i think. But i must say its a lovely looking nova.
Hi, another (sort of) newbie returning to Nova ownership, hopefully to stay this time :-) I was a few days late buying my new car for the meet lol
Does anyone have any idea what happened to / could they keep a lookout for my old Nova 2L 16v saloon, A573KCC? Metallic brown / burgandy, safety devices roll cage, bucket seats, last I saw it had the original stereo etc in it, cracking sleeper.
I sold it about a year and a half ago and last heard it was getting a bit mangled up at Knockhill - would very much like to try and save it if possible?

Cheers, it's a clean shell - I bought it off the boy near Bishop Stortford.
If they have any history from it or know anything more about the car/engine can you let me know? Trying to put as much history together.
I know it had two new wings, sills and had arch work - I've since had the arches done and it's going in for a paint next month:thumb:

mmmm, think I seen this at Knockhill 2 months ago and it was in a bump with a 205 (i think) It had some new parts on it and bits in primer but had seen better days...I'll have a look for pics.

Had a look, cant see any. This was well gone, had the old 6 dial clocks - think it was a 2 door too. It'll prob be up there again

6 dials, bucket seats, harnesses, safety devices roll cage with door bars and beige interior? If so that's the one.

Didn't look quite like that when I had it though, but good to see it's still going. I'm going up there 8th Nov to see if I can see it in action and get a yap with the new owner.

as far as im aware it was just the once, judging by the pick its had a new 1 cos was a mk1 in the crash
