View Full Version : How easy is it to find a 1.3 Sr enigne now?

I may be in need of a 1.3 Sr engine later, just as a spare engine, probably take bits off but you never know she might go bang! So how much are they and how available are they?
Also nova shells are they quite cheap at the moment? any shell will do ive currently got a 83 i think.

it has to be a 1.3 engine for my class rules. so a 1.3 astra engine is exactly the same to a 1.3nova SR?? what about 1.3 cavvies? or am i trippin and they dotn exist? ok heres the easy question... where can i find a 1.3 that is dead the same as a nova SR ie rated the same

i dont use a pierburg "whatever it is" i use a weber 34
whats different about the exhaust manifold?

theres was one with a gearbox on ebay once for about ?20 buyer collects LOL the guy just wanted the space back in his garage

thats the state of play with them really

alright cool but how much of a change is it on the exhaust manifold? that could be my next mod i think actually. looking a bit banged. so next question : good place to get a manifold from?

Theres 2 x 1.3 Nova engines in a Scrap yard near Kettering, Northants.
