dash conversion

Is the job of fiiting a mark 2 dash into a mark 1 nova a simple swap, or is it just more hassle than it's worth? Thanks.

theres an article about it on here chap, it doesnt look to hard to do, im going to attempt it soon

Its not hard,the wiring of the mk2 plugs and the heater cables takes the longest.Just make sure you have everything for the mk2 dash then you cant go wrong

yeh is simplesssss

every plug wires straight into the mk2 plug colour for colour when i did it. the guide says different.
and also a good tip, once you got the mk1 out.

strip the mk2 of all the black bits. and fit the skeleton of the mk2 dash in, so couples of screws at each end and a few behind the dash, then pull all the wires through the holes :)

as said the heater cables are a bit of a bitch, heat them up a tad with a hairdryer to stop them snapping

Yeah thats good advice Martin as i snapped mine fitting them in sub zero temperatures last December lol
