Right been looking into a 421 manifold for the belmont now ive been offered a timax tubular manifold for £80 posted brand new old stock. But have also been offered a SBD type A manifold for £165 posted. Now looking at the 2 pics it looks to me that there exactly the same?? anyone heard of timax? seems pointless paying twice the price for the same manifold with SBD wrote on it?? Discuss . . .

BTB will be a million times better quality and give a few bhp more I reckon, but if the engine is relatively standard then thats not an issue....

im edging towards the SBD 1 anyway tbh mate, im just running stock engine with bike carbs but will get cams in the new year.?

Timax usually do OE replacement exhausts like bosal. I wouldn't expect it to fit perfectly. Generally I would avoid tbh.

Timax is aftermarket 5hite ie a standard replacement part, go with th BTB

First time I've ever seen a pattern 4 branch manifold.

SBD all the way if its an upgrade though.

Timax stuff isn't good, think low end after market oem replace ment.
