Trying to open another hotmail account for my profession rather than using my personal one.
It only gives my live.co.uk or hotmail.co.uk. Is it not possible to have a hotmail.com anymore? Anyone know how I can get a .com from hotmail?

.com is used for American addresses. Unless you can fool it into thinking you're in America, by cunning use of a proxy server that allows scripts etc OR get someone IN america to sign up for you, you're stumped.
I had the same issue when I tried to get another @gmail.com address instead of the gayhat @googlemail.co.uk, but I can't remember what proxy server I used.
I dont think you can get a .com anymore. Ive never been able to anyway although sayin that my other half has got a .com address

it changed couple years ago as if a few years old they were all .com same as gmail i have about 6 gmail.com address's just cant get in half of them lol

answered your own question there fella, you used to be able to have .com, but then when they started using the .co.uk suffix they must have seen no reason for us uk'ers to have a .com. makes sense really,

Just use it for crap stuff, like i do. Anything you don't trust or think you'll get spam and stuff from use the hotmail one.

Cheers Southie it's almost perfect, the address I want is unavailable in the .com address lol typical!
Anyway now that I have that link it's all good :thumb:
