ok, some may of seen this in the for sale section.

was just round the corner like 5 mins drive lol. still got some tax till march and MOT till next week. i couldnt say no really and he is delivering it to my house LOL

there is some rust. but im not afriad lol. i checked all the normal spots and boot floor is good small amount of bubbling, needs new front wings i would say. probably new rear arches. and then rebuild the splash guards, front panel felt solid. and couldnt see the rear. i think there are a few small holes behind the rear suspension as normal lol. battery tray is good. inner wings small amount of bubbling but i think thats it, head lights are good.

plans are to MOT it, then see whats it needs, do the work, get it road worthy, and then get kelbelle driving it

Hmmm 5 mins away or not , I'd still rather travel that extra bit to find a mint one.

im sorry Martin but she looks a pear ATM , im sure you will give it a new lease of life , central locking and electric windows door cappings aswell , lol rob them for the mk1 , some farcella G3 compound will bring the flame red up a treat , also love the plate suits your missis , Kellbelle 670 For The Win . lol

i am guessing you are the person who buys mint novas and then moans that they are jumping in price.

i buy cheap. fix up. and either keep it for kelly. or sell it for a bit more .

and, if every nova was decribed as scrap then im sure there wouldnt be many left

225 for any nova is good imo

dont take it to heart mate , its only a bit of critism prove Ben wrong and tidy it up some critism goes along way will make you more determined to tidy it but it all depends on what you paid for the whole car i personally wouldnt pay much i would of broke it and robbed few bits as mentioned in my last post , so get off the net and go get it cleaned up :thumb:

i havent got it yet, get it next week sometime deopending on when i get paid, as said above, i paid 225 with 5 months tax, which i will probably get back.

and yeh, im gonna clean it up.

and it should be quite easy as i have my nova to take patterns of

Chill out, yes its £225 but for £600 you could of bought Pauls very clean base model, it will cost far more in panels and parts to get that even close to this standard and thats not inlcuding the paint it will need etc.

Sometimes your better off spending a little more and getting a lot better!

lol ive had a collection of red novas 2 red mk2's and 1 mk1 and a red corsa b , get out and get compund will look a million times better polished up .

lol i am chilled :D

and nova's never come up for sale and espically (sp) this cheap.

and i did have a rough workout of costs to fix it up, and i dont think its gonna be that much couple of arches, wings, give it a good clean up. and welding gas, wire etc etc

YAY! My car :) I have complete faith in Martin, I've see what he has scheived with his own Nova in terms of getting rid of rust and I'm impressed enough to let him do it.

As for the one or two female bad drivers comments! I drive Martin's Nova about 5 days and week and he drives it at the weekend and he has crashed it twice in 18 months and I have not crashed at all in one year so :p

crashed it twice lol, makes me sound well bad, once i reversed around a corner and took out a back light,

and the other i planted the alloy wheel into a kerb going about 25-30 in the wet. not good but no body work damage, win

i was going to buy this car but with the mot running short decided not too, and losing my job wasnt a plus, shall watch this should be good whatever happens!
