ET49 is the offset. The PCD is 4x100.

BMW, VW, Renault will bolt onto the hubs but wether they fit or not is another story! As most other Marques the et is way off!

That narrows it down.... Though at 5.5J you can probably stray a bit on the offset, prolly as low as et40. Don't let any wheel suppliers blag you into anything, they will tell you anything fits to make a sale. Sure the wheels might be 4x100 pcd, but making you grind your arches is naughty IMO. ;)

Mk III Astra 13 inch (5.5J) Steels go straight on if you have the base model 155/80 x 13 tyres. Not very glamorous but if you are on a budget (and who isn't) this would be an interim measure. It does give more grip than 145's and is kind to the driveshafts if you get a decent make of tyre.

If you go up a stage and get wide lo-pros bear in mind the ride is going to be more jarry. There's a lot to be said for comfort in a car that almost takes off over bumps!
