I own a Pulsar GTiR and love it but having Pulsar with lots of power is fine but its not very different.

By putting a SR20DET engine in i think its different????

Av had a good few Nova's in my time the last count was 7 i think. I'm always think of getting one again.

Has anyone done this and if so did the engine go in the front or back? I no this is a long shot but would like to find out more?

feedback welcome good or bad :thumb:

I have skills but dont think as much as you i mean ur a hero, I just looked at what you made and you really are the man lol :thumb:s up 2 you for it.

I dont think for a minute it will me a 2 minute job and i have a good set of friends to help if i end up doing this.

I only want to know if its been done before so I'm not stabbing around in the dark if i was to do this, to make it a little more easy.

Getting the engine in is the easy bit' getting the drive to the hubs is the hard bit, i would be using a Nissan sunny GTi gearbox so getting the Nissan shafts to marry up to the nova hubs is something to think about.

Maybe the best way would be to put the engine in the back and make a sub frame for all the engine and running gear to bolt to then i could use all the running gear from the the Sunny???

Burgo Thanks for reply :thumb:

if its going in the front i very much dout you will be able to steer if using a nissan box.

Iirc when some one but a vtec lump in with the honda box it sat right where the passenger wheel was.

In the back would be the easiest option, make a frame with the engine mounts in the same place and all the front runniing gear, eg lower arms strut tops etc
