Window Winder

Is the 4/5 door d/s window mechanism on a nova the same as a 3 door corsa b?

Need to get mine working.


Or is their a way it can be bodged to work?

Nay, I'd guess it would be different. Why isn't it working? Is it winding but not going up?

The mechanism that attaches to the winder is slipping when you turn the handle. its not biting. if you get me...

Are you sure its not the plastic part thats f*cked? meaning you just need a new handle?

If its a 5door there common, iirc there sorta cables?.

Corsa ones are different.

John. Handle is fine. its the actual mechanism, Happend to me before.

And i do believe they are cable. Vaux want 90 odd quid for a new mechanism!

mk2 astra 4 door might be similiar but id remove the winder and prop up the glass using some wood screwed together and then work out why the winder isnt operating.
