hello everyone i used to be a member 3 years ago when i had this car but sold it and sadly left lol. im now back with the same old baby. i bought this back after seeing it fall apart and get mistreated and not running and no electrics working which hurt me badly lol. so i got it back to rebuild it and get another classic nova back on the road. cosmeticly im not doing much to her but i stripped out all the interior and rewired the whole lot. i will add more pics as i go along.

this is wot she look like when i sold her in a runing order just been resprayed and a dyno read out of 158 bhp on a standard engine hope you all can have a look and see what everyone thinks.

new cav slabs have just arrived :thumb: refurb starts on them tomorrow stripping them down and painting black.
Down the garage on the weekend to finish off the interior and make a start on the engine bay. il keep my thread updated pics tomorrow :wisewood:

i had it done over 3 years ago when i thought it was cool lol, have been thinking about spraying it back to black but wana get the car running first lol

jus a quick update engine is back together dash has been sprayed back to black. sunday i want to try and start her hasnt been started in over a year and when i got it back it was a non runner so fingers crossed lol. pics will be up soon lost my data lead for my phone.

right nothing much has happened to the nova over the last few weeks due to my bank account being cloned and wiped out :mad: .

since i last posted the engine had been put back together and got her running only to find out the water pump had a serious leak :wall: .

a week later had a few issues with my daily and had to get rid of it.

managed to get a new daily thanks to my long term friend (jackbd) a nice 1.2 expresson nova

whist helping my team captain (banger racing) clean out his yard we come across a full gsi kit that he stripped off a car a few years ago and being such a wicked captain he gave it to his best driver lol

Due to a leaking water pump and wanting to respray my engine bay, now i have more time to spend on her (now i have a new daily) the engine had to come out

cars all done finally just waiting for my led number plate screws, bonnet pins, number plates and my half red half clear euro lights then i can get her mot'd :-). so sunday im going to get my mop, compound and polish out and give her a real good clean. then in 2 month hopefully a full respray and some new rear arches (need to save my pennies lol). the wheels that are on it atm are temp need to take my slabs to work to get shot blasted. here are a few pics after i finished the service today
