There was one on the cover of TV a few years back claiming 600.

I managed 740 with metal wings, standard seats (v.heavy) and a redtop.

I should imagine sub 700 would have been very reachable with some FG buckets and polycarb windows.

Yeah thats the one. High **** in the air for a drag style of weight distribution.

Mine is 595kg, I am not aware of there having been a lighter Nova, unless a spaceframe has been used.

I always planned to get sub 600kgs, I reckon 550kgs is about the ceiling without going really crazy (spaceframe etc). Colin, your's sounds pretty special :)

That wasnt Lee's Loggyboy is referring to, it was a Courtenay turbo'd XE, Red GTE, far too 'clean' to be Lee's. Though Lee's must be pretty light, not forgetting the carbon doors. :thumb:

My bad, wasn't aware of this turbo'd one. Although I am doubtful that a turbo'd XE would be so light :tard:

autograss class 2 nova's are about 600Kg but I have heard of some that were 590 and they still managed to take some more weight out!

Ben

but tbh when your down as light as that level the drivers weight is more of an issue!
