Reason I asked was I only have line connection and no outgoing calls for just the Internet, £14 iirc.

I don't use it because we have mobiles.

Ah...well i have a phone line and BB with them. Dont want/need a landline. I only took it for the BB. Would like to cancel the whole lot and just go to Virgin for BB TBH.

if BT won't bar mobiles - phone a re-seller have them CPS the line and the mar mobiles, they'll do it fine then all you need to do is pay BT line rental.
