Dircet line, but the car cannot be modified at all!

Alot of insurers are send assesers out now to inspect cars prior to insuring them!

My mates corsa 1,0 was inspected, so 5am before the bloke was coming, we were in his garage, flat out, unlowering, changing brakes, wheels etc!

The tool didnt notice gsi bootlid, or the yellow gas shocks!

I mean can you imagine if they did that for every quote? They would be working at a loss

Perhaps that is where the high premiums come from.

Take a look in the back of some magazines or Yellow pages & see which brokers specialise in young drivers. Get a quote with your Mum or Dad included on your policy as a named driver also. My Mum is included on my policy & it lowered it by over £50 (considering I pay £212 for a 2.0 Golf GTI, thats a good saving)

But do yourself a favour & don't modify the car FFS.

Yes it is, I said for a laugh, I thought i would become png god?

It was admiral, anyone who fancies ringing them about it, feel free, as it was insure in his mums name, and they wanted to inspect the car, before they would honour the policy

I used admiral when I was younger on a 'modifed' 1.2. Modified being wheels, exhaust etc. was £1300 fully comp by far the cheapest around at the time.

i used the online quote because im not getting insured yet incase i add any big mods to my car, but i used quinn direct lol,
but insurence quotes depend on where you live,
my mates car is £1700 and hes like 28, 10 years ncb, drives a vauxhall vectra 2l, but if he was in my area it would only be £752.
