got a 206 hdi 2.0 x reg dirty diesel for work and the diff is starting to seize,

Do i sell it for around £1400 if so what can i get for that money or do i whack a gearbox in for around £300 ish and carry on clocking up the miles:confused:

It's on 77k at the Mo,so quite good for the year !

The bodywork is mint...... but what can you get for the £1400 thats X reg or newer with those miles and retuns around 400 - 450 miles on a tank ?

You'd get an early (2001 ish) mk3 mondeo diesel for that, that'll give you 450-550 miles per tank depending on how you drive it, also 77k isn't much for a bigger car. You should be able to get a similar 406 or vectra if the blue oval isn't your thing.
