there is a shity looking nova sport around here and i beleive it has twin 40's on it? will these twin 40's fit on a gte?

I don't think the manifold will be an exact fit, & the carbs will need re-jetting

hes rite the carbs will need rebuilding, the ports on the inlet will be diferent size to those on the gte head

a BRAND NEW manifold for what you require is circa ?120, thats the cheapest i found brand new

fortunately i got one second hand

they will be jetted wrong

yes thats correct

and also if its on a nova sport it will have 28mm chokes and if it has ram pipes, naff ones of those, it may even have the original aiurbox on which is even worse.

you need short rampipes, circa 22mm

and at least 32mm chokes on a 1.6

so just easier to put the 1300 in? willi tuse the same engine mounts?

sure will

much easier

depends which sport engine it is

it may even have a fast road cam on it

if not, a couple of months later, upgrade your cam and youll be laffing

well it says spax on the back of it, and its has a crap body, so will it just go in or will things need changing??? need help? tonight if possible? is it more powerfull than a nova gte the sport is c reg by the way

try and restore the sport if possible......... there SO rare

as for spax thats a suspension manufacturer so its probly just a sticker for show :?

and as for engine power

the sport does a 0-60 strip in .2 seconds FASTER than a gte
