I,m in the process of fitting twin 40s to my 1.4 SRaloon and need some new water pipes.

What pipes do people use as i no a standard one will fit the right hand side,but what do i use from the left of the bulkhead to the inlet manifold,i.e is there a specific fit pipe :confused:

Also has anyone got the part number for a nova sport one and if so are the still available ?

I just used a piece of normall silicone water pipe in my rally car, have you got any old pipes lying around in your garage?

get a tape measure and have a check what the i.d is and then nip to the local motor factors, they will sell you a short length off a roll for a few pennys mate

but needs to have a bend at each end luckly i had a old ford cvh pipe that was perfect.

Ill go to scrap yard tomorrow and have a look which pipe was it and which engine was it off

try the heater pipe off an xe calibra or astra mk2 ;)

i cant rember what exact water pipe it was but was off a xr2 fiesta, but i recon any old cvh engimne should have the same

According to the Total vauxhall sport buyers guide,

manifold to heater, 90044408 from a mk2 astra
block to heater, 94137686 from a midi van (bedford midi).

The original sport pack instructions list them as ST200 and ST201, probably numbers that will only ever mean anything to Irmscher themselves.

Steve Thompson in Lichfield were the official irmscher uk importers when the sport was made, i guess they still are.. you could try them
