1996 VAUXHALL OMEGA 2.0i 16V GLS 4dr Saloon
107,500 miles, p reg, 4 Door saloon, mettallic Green, 2.0 Ecotec Petrol, Manual. GLS spec so electric windows, electric mirrors, electric sunroof, alloys, remote central locking. Also has a tow bar with twin electrics.
There are problems though, the engine has in the last week or two become quite noisy, sounds like a top end problem to me. However I have not taken off the cam cover or head to inspect it; so it could be a simple fix, or maybe not, I have no idea. However the car still drives fine, so it’s useable, just doesn’t sound too good.
The ABS light has also appeared on the dash, I believe this is because the rear pads and perhaps disks need changing. Also the front passenger side tyre could do with being changed.
The car is in good shape otherwise no real rust on it anywhere and its never had any welding done, interior is all very good and clean. The engine was great until recently. I have a bunch of paperwork with it, the clutch and timing belt have been changed by the previous owner. Also have the owner manuals and two sets of keys.
The tax is up at the end of this month and the MOT is also due on the 28th October. So there is time to fix the problems if you wanted to keep the car on the road.
