Basicaly as im rebuilding things on the nova im wondering what i can do to stop threads rusting and locking up. Track rod ends are one of the ones im thinking of.

Any ideas to stop it rusting, while on the shelf and also when on the car?

Plus ive got the brake discs (plus other items) sat on the shelfs and im wondering what i can do to stop them rusting while there sat around all winter? Just some oil or is there anything better to do?

Any advice is great, Rep for everyone (If i can).

Cheers!

threads coat in copper slip and disks and stuff spray with wd40. remember to clean them with white spirit or something similar when you come to use them tho

If you can keep them in your house then that would be better than in a shed/garage. The moisture from the cold will be whats causing it mainly....i think.
