Blue and yellow is for the oil pressure gauge iirc.

Are the other two on engine or car loom?

It does mike, For the oil pressure sender, if you have 6 dial clocks

Behind the cambelt if your looking at the engine from the front of the car.

ok just been up to the car to connect the blue yellow cable to the oil pressure sender. now there was already a plug connected to it. but just bellow there was a small threaded nipple bit so connected the blue yellow cable to that. when i did this the gauge just dropped right down to the bottom!!! so not really sure that is correct lol. also whilst i was under the car i saw another connector on the back of the engine next to the starter motor. but none of my plugs that are left over will fit! any idear what that is for? Also my temp gauge is not working! The temp gauge is still the same one from the 1.2 is that ok? Cant see why it wont work now!

Is the air temp sensor on the back of the inlet manifold connected?

Temp gauge shouldnt make any odds. Remove the sender & try another (from your old engine).

As for oil pressure, it should typically read: high when cold, low on warm idle & rise with revs.

where abouts on the inlet manifold is the plug? as for the oil pressure it stays slap bang in the middle the whole time. havnt had the engine running for that long as the temp gauge isnt working and didnt want to do any damage so maybe just not got warm enough. isnt the temp gauge sender at the bottom left side of the rad if you are looking from the front?
