i have a 1.6 turbo nova, suspected courtney conversion. it has png in the window, J77 OVA is the reg does anyone know anything about it thanks.

well the 1st thing i would be doing if i was you would be to register it with the dvla as a 1.6 turbo IMO
tax fraud is something to be frowned apon, and not to mention you insurance will be Void if you have an accident

yea wen it gets into boost it jus looses power :/
for god's sake don't rev it up then.. the pistons will melt

You need a rising rate fuel pressre regulator (FPR). You then need it setting up as opposed to just plonking it on & hoping for the best.
Avoid using the car until this is sorted, or risk engine failure!
I know the car quite well, what Baxter said is completly correct lol
When it was first built it was a right machine TBH, saw plenty of action round my way that ole Nova has chap :thumb: was a really nicely done pre Nurburg tho
