The most desirable nova model to many, demand huge prices for a clean original example.

Buy now...or else you'll end up paying mk2 escort costs lol. They are worth it, been out all day in mine-nice dry roads and it was good fun!

i'm with joe, mine'll definitely be staying if its going to reach mk2 escort prices and its definitley worth the money, there a blast to drive. I personally find it the most desirable nova just ahead of the GTE, its the reason I bought it.

It's the wrong colour for me to spend 2k on, it's rare for a reason

No chance of them ever demanding mk2 Escort money! lol
Some cars just aren't going for the money they deserve IMO (mk1 xr2)

Good news for buyers though lol.

mm i like mk1 xr2s aswell, it was between that and an sr and a nice sr popped up for sale first. I will scratch the mk1 xr2 itch one day though.

Granted i think that colour on an SR with trims/standard guise is cack, but with the 3 spokes and lowered a bit they look ace, mine was stripped and caged too, looked the bollox imo

Pics? sounds good, the one i'm going to see is black, worst colour for a SR IMO

I'll try and find some, this was 3 years ago? Had a couple of PC's go pop since then so i might not have any :(

I was going to buy a black one once just because they're rare but the vinyls look cack against the black.

Buy the one in Brum i just went to see, too much of a project for me and i can't justify 750 for it,

It has the brown interior even dash and carpets

The SR's have been quite pricey for years.

I bought my GSi in 1999. I wanted a 1.3 SR but due to the cheaper insurance costs on them, GTE's were actually cheaper to buy (like for like/mileages & age) so I was then looking at GTE's.

When the Novas popularity dipped a bit 5 or 6 years ago, they were at rock bottom but it appears as they are now recognised as retro & whilst we are in a retro boom, the prices are 'mental' as Grant puts it, on page 1.

It really does suck that GSi's have hit rock bottom now I am looking to break mine!
