Maybe a small smear of grease to help them in. A G clamp/vice and a couple of bits of wood. Oh, and a second pair of hands might come in handy lol

Aye ive tried in the vice once, gave up as soon as i realised all i was doing was squshing the bush lol Il have another go soon though.
Stus guide seems good, but its ment for poly bushs, no good for me. (Thats what i understand from a quick 1min read anyway lol

Aye, rubber bushes can be a PITA to fit because of their squashiness.
4 large washer, 4 nuts, bit of longish threaded bar, wind one side and it will pull/push it thru.
Yeah, but just a bit easier as you can do it anywhere..
and only costs about £5 vs a Vice thats going to be atleast £30 lol
Already got a vice lads lol, Have done for years.

sledgehammer job mate, your car bonnet will make a good anvil to strike it on
serious advice time... to lubricate rubber, use washing up liquid. it will fit in easier..
the biggest problem with fitting rubber bushes is that people always seem to stick a bolt or similar thru the hole with a washer & try to squeeze it in. the bush always squashes & is a git to get in.. now, if you find a socket the right diameter to just fit in the hole, then use that to push the bush in, it should go in easier. I've even got a bit of tin & some jubilee clips (like a ring compressor) to keep a bush sqeezed to get it in
Yer i still havnt had another go, somthing to do tomorrow if i remember/get chance.
Cheers for all the help people, Rep if i can :)
