Me again, done a search on fuel lines for the conversion. Have a few optiıons of nylon, plastic & copper IIRC.
Current lines are carb lines so:
Is it only required to change the supply line as its pressurised? Or do both supply and return need to be done?
Is 8mm the correct size for a LET supply line?
Anyone know a place that can supply these lines? I'd prefer to go plastic as copper can be damaged more imo.
Again will +rep all those who give helpful posts :thumb:
lol Id change both, there old so its worth doing.
The size of pipe depends on what size fittings your fuel pump use mainly, plus the other end.
As long as there high pressure ones then any will be fine. Same as 2.0s or anything like that. I still run the plastic lines on my baby xe, still a high pressure pump :)
Vauxhall sell the plastic stuff by the roll for something like 2.50 per meter last time i needed some

Thanks again lads, can't +rep you as I repped you for the fuel pump thread lol
Is the actual return going to be pressurised?
Plastic sounds good and the price is reasonable, 8 metres should suffice for both return and supply. They've lasted 24years so I'm sure the new ones would last just as much.

Probably coz it was an injection model. I have a feeling the carb lines would still work mate but better safe then sorry should it go mamory glands up
SR would be carb nova tek, your thinking SRI.
Id still rather change them than trust 20 year old rubbish.
