Are these Coilovers really that bad for an XE?

What is wrong with them?

Opinions please

What lb springs do they have? (thats the important thing)

I have no idea, i hope they ain't bad, i've put them on mine lol but mine look different and have a different rate of rebound spring, the suspension is real stiff though lol

250 are ok for a xe. 275-300 would be better.

Friend of a friend had them (I was going to buy them so actually went in search of info on them, this isn't just a "dave said...") Apparently they're an utter crap fit, needed spacers with 5.5j standard vaux wheels, depending whether or not you get some that were made a bit wonky or not, and the ride/handling is just tosh.

Ive heard the same MK999, Apparently the ride is terrible.

Ok i bought them as they were cheap coilovers, didnt think too much about anything else at the time :tard:

Ive got a chance of some RSX's, the car isnt on the road yet and dont fancy getting it together to find they are shoite!!

Anyone else have FK's with the opinion they're not all that?

They're alright if you wanna drop a car and roll it to a show or round town etc from what I've heard of them, that's what they're made for imo (the lowering range compared to other brands should tell you that much) but if you want to thrash an XE I'd definitely go for something better.

RSX's require spacers on cesaros.

Like the same with any suspension there is always an entry level shock, FK do a coilover with a Koni insert, thats really good.

RSX's are an entry level adjustable coilover.

So RSX's are not that great either?

Its going to be driven daily to and from work down mack roads then here there and everywhere, what do you guys reccomend (sp) are a good coilover to go with? I've not the dollar for Gaz.

I know its not going to be a smooth ride with whatever but want it to bareable :thumb:
