got my nova gsi back on the road with a x16xe in it, with a s/s 4 branch manifold and a power box (inlet manifold box)

had a redtop in there since begining of the year untill just after pv 09, but it now drives so much better and to be honest it doesnt feel much slower than the redtop.
handling is much better and smoother. Im really pleased with it.

just thought id let you guys know that its back on the road at last.

Funked lol, decided to cut my losses and move on, the novas one has been nothing but problems. So its currently sat in my shed, think il end up splitting it.

Tigras one is much better lol, never had a problem with the engine :d

So you only have an exhaust system and a de-restricted inlet manifold and it feels like a redtop? I cant wait to see what mine feels like when its done, only 6 months to wait :cry:

It's the same as what I have and to be honest they seem better than a red top ;)

Mine had the same mods essentially. I was quite impressed with mine apart from the noise, which might have been to do with the system.

std 1600 8v's are gay.

It is a worthwhile conversion but most people average 130hp, mines special lol

A standard xe is much much quicker ;)

And yes ive owned both, went from a genuine 127hp 1.6 16v to a pretty much stock xe, the difference suprised me.
