Has anyone had this problem and if so can you suggest what i should do?!
Since yesterday my nova has developed a road noise from the back of the car, it sounds like normal road noise from lets say a fiat, but, it was not there yesterday. It only appears after 20mph an gets louder the faster you get.
i recently changed all handbrake cables and have not adjusted it yet, would that be it?
could it be the hub?
Or, could it be the rear drum?
From the drivers seat it sounds like it is coming from the near side rear wheel!! but cud b wrong..........

grab the wheel at the 12 o'clock position and push it in and out. if you feel a knock and movement, you need new bearings

whats the noise? Is it like a loud droaning hum? If so then its bearings.

for future reference to all nova people if you are messing with the rear brakes, take serious care to keep brake dust out of the bearings, or just go & buy a set of bearings & replace them.. they don't cost much cash...

Also make sure you put grease on them. Collapsed rear wheel bearings at 70 is quite scary!

The AA arnt very quick either...
